Chanel Classic Medium Square Double Flap Bag with 24k gold plated hardware

This vintage Classic Chanel Medium Square Flap bag is crafted with diamond quilted lambskin leather with 24k gold-plated hardware and a single convertible leather-trimmed chain-link shoulder strap. There is a single exterior patch pocket on the back, a single zip pocket under the front flap and three interior compartments. Inside the bag is lined with maroon leather. 

New this bag retails at £8530 from Chanel, with prices continuing to increase every year, ensuring a strong resale value.

This bag is in very good vintage condition with only minor signs of use.

The hallmark on the CC turn lock confirms the gold hardware is plated in 24K gold, a real collectors item. Before 2008, Chanel Classic Flaps with gold coloured hardware (chains, clasps, grommets, and CC turn locks) were all plated in real 24K gold.

This bag comes with the serial sticker attached. The serial number tells us this bag was made between 1986-1988. This bag also comes with the original Chanel dust bag (has some marks) plus the original Chanel box.
