Vintage Chanel Black Single Flap with 24k gold plated hardware

This vintage Classic Chanel Single Flap bag is crafted from black quilted lambskin leather with 24k gold-plated hardware and a leather-trimmed chain shoulder strap. There is a zip and a slip pocket inside this bag plus the interior is lined with maroon leather.

The serial number on the sticker tells us the bag was made during early 1986, one of the first serial stickers made!

This bag is in very fair vintage condition. There is some dryness to the feeling of the leather. There is some colour fade to the hardware in places.

The hallmark on the CC turn lock confirms the gold hardware is plated in 24K gold, a real collectors item. Before 2008, Chanel Classic Flaps with gold coloured hardware (chains, clasps, grommets, and CC turn locks) were all plated in real 24K gold.

This bag comes with the serial number sticker still attached and an online Entrupy certificate of ation. Comes with the original Chanel dust bag.
